# Which service is faster, auto-linking or formulas?

When it comes to linking collections, which service will run faster, auto-linking or formulas? Has anyone tested this?

WDYM? These service do different things.

Are you talking about comparing a formula that results in an entity/collection and an auto-linking relation that produces the same result (at least from the point of view of one db)?

They do different things, but can used interchangeably in some cases.
