# What happens first, auto-linking or formula engine?

Any way to know for certain which will happen first?

If I know the auto-linking happens first, I can use the formula change as a trigger.

The issue is that I’m trying to solve is the “Link or Create” depending on the relation exists or not. Context is in email automations, emails into a label, and they automatically get added to the “contacts” database (not the integration one, but a native fibery one).

Lmk if more info is needed. Thanks!
