# UX: Whiteboard Template: Impossible to detach/remove all unnecessary pieces of the template

Thanks for the whiteboard templates - love the new possibilities! But I don’t always use the boards for what they were designed. Sometimes I need to remove unneeded pieces. But unfortunately I cannot do this in full… I was able to remove some parts but cannot get rid of the last bit.

If I click the red area and click Del on my keyboard the entire chart is deleted. However, I just found out I click that area and then select in the menu Remove Section Only and then it works like I want.
