# Using Tab in Content Area

It is not possible to use tab to indent text in the Content Area

We have a database for our wiki pages, and it all works fine, but we noticed its not possible to indent text, only as like an indented list.

It would be great if we can write with tabs, as it helps with readability in documentation

I’m having the same issue, and some other colleagues have also noticed this. I can see that this issue has been around since 2023 ([Tab/Indent in Rich Text Fields?](https://community.fibery.io/t/tab-indent-in-rich-text-fields/4346)).  
This issue significantly impacts the ability to format text naturally, especially when creating documentation or detailed notes.

This seems like a fundamental text editing feature that would greatly improve the user experience. Could we get an update on whether this functionality is planned for implementation?

Our rich text editor leverages markdown, and at the moment, there is no support for tabs (paragraph indents) sorry.

This is a basic feature which would greatly enhance usability, most apps allow this
