# Unlinked comment

Hello,

Please excuse me if this question has already been addressed, but I would like to ask about unlinked comments.

I find it rather difficult to work with this type of comment, as it is not possible to reply to them or reference them elsewhere. Am I overlooking something, or is it indeed the case that once a comment is unlinked, no further actions can be taken?

You’re not overlooking anything. Unless the text to which the now-unlinked Comment is restored, the Comment can only be deleted

Thank you for you answer. Is this something that is expected to change? Although the original text has disappeared, this comment (and any potential replies) still has value.
