# Transcribing audio recordings

Not to hijack this idea, but one of the reasons I’d be excited about [a Fibery \<-\> Obsidian sync plugin (independent, open source)](https://community.fibery.io/t/proposing-development-of-a-fibery-obsidian-sync-plugin-independent-open-source/4514) is that Obsidian very often has functions like this available in free plugins, functions that IMO are outside the scope of core Fibery functions and therefore may be unlikely to be implemented. If we had Obsidian sync, you could use an Obsidian transcribe tool then just auto-sync it into Fibery and this “feature” would essentially be immediately available to you with no work needed from the Fibery team.
