# Text Highlighting Bug

When editing text in a table view, clicking and dragging moves the position new text is entered rather than highlighting from the current text position. I’m hoping this is a bug rather than intended behavior.

The issues seems to primarily be on table view, the highlighting works correctly on Database View.

I tested on both Safari Version 17.4.1 (19618.1.15.11.14) and ~~Chrome Version 124.0.6367.94~~.

_Update:_  
Just re-tested with Chrome without issue, pretty sure it’s a Safari bug.
