# Table view for editing select field values

When creating a single or multi-select field with several options, configuring the properties of each value is a hassle.  
If there is a better way, I’d love to see it in the documentation! For now, i go to the parent database and click on an empty value. Then I Alt+Click the option and enter in each of the values for each supporting field.

It would be nice to see the select fields in their own view where I can update each option and the custom fields attached to it in a table.

I agree. My current workaround is to create a board view with the field used as a column, and edit it from the column headers.
