Hello,

In my Fibery environment I heavily count on Referencing other Entities when writing. A nice feature Fibery has, is that it is able to show how many times an Entity is Referenced in other Entities, called Reference Count. I use this number to determine how important it is for that Entity to be worked on next and I would like to create a list where the most referenced Entity is on top. However, at the moment it is not possible to sort based on Reference Count.

It would be great if it would be possible to Sort based on Reference Count.

Hey! You can actually do this already, just with 1 extra step. Add a formula “Reference Count” with the function: References.Count(). Then sort based on that formula instead of the references themselves.

The count which shows on fields is actually calculated on the front-end, not on the database itself, so that’s why you cant sort on it (I think). The formula adds an actual number field into the database, which is sortable.

@RonMakesSystems Thank you, I did not know that. That is a good workaround. It is unfortunate I have to create this formula for every database, so it would still be nice if Reference count is sortable by default, but I will certainly use this formula.
