# Sort by field in the related list

it would be great to sort records in the related list (child records).

Yes, indeed.  
As some of you know, there’s some serious work going on with redesign of entity view, and the collections view will be part of that.  
ETA is tricky, possibly not before the end of the year ☹

Sorting in relation fields is available (and has been for a while now) so will close this topic
