In my CRM i use a relationship field “referred by” and point this to an entry in the contacts database itself. this works great

but sometimes people are not referred by a single person but more a company or an event.

would it be possible to use a relationship field that points to any of these databases (contact, company, event)

a polymorphic relationship … ?

thanks

Not now, but hopefully someday 😀

> It appeared we need Polymorphic relations for References 2.0 features. So there is a chance that we will add them this year. However, with some limitations (like up to 5 databases on every end).

I though they said that it will never happen because it’s structurally impossible 😮
