# Passkey authentication for "log in with Google" not supported in Mac app

I use “Log in with Google” for Fibery, and I log into Google using passkeys and security keys. I am avoiding passwords and 2FA security codes as much as possible, after having been phished.

However, when I try to log in using the Mac app, no window pops up prompting me to activate the passkey. It appears to be unsupported.

I would like to make passkeys mandatory on my team, but right now this would mean we won’t be able to log into Fibery. That’s not great.

We’re currently working on bringing passkey support to our desktop app.
