As a sort of followup to [On whiteboards, allow individual relationship line to be hidden](https://community.fibery.io/t/on-whiteboards-allow-individual-relationship-line-to-be-hidden/6493)

For those who use whiteboards with entities a lot, the relationship lines can be a double edged sword.
They can be very useful and represent a source of truth for how the entities relate to each other, but the same source of truth can become a pain in the butt once it starts showing lines that you don’t want to see.

I understand that features such as “hide certain relationship lines” would not be a good way to go, as the moment you do that they would stop representing a source of truth.

What might be an elegant solution to that problem is to have a list of “which relationships to display” so that you could toggle on or off lines which you won’t want to see, such as a parent-child relationship.
