Hi!  
Notifications work in comments and in rich text fields only if the user was mentioned  
You can always configure [custom notifications](https://help.fibery.io/en/articles/5480474-notify-people-via-buttons-or-rules) 🙂

The ability to “follow entity” is in the backlog
