# Move Buttons to other Spaces/Databases

If I want to create the same button for another space or another database, it would be great to be able to just move the button to another space or database.

Out of curiosity, what is the button that you want to move actually doing? Mostly buttons (and rules) are tied to a database because the actions they execute are specific to the database properties (fields and relations). Since there can be a lot of variety in these properties between dbs, it’s hard to figure out how to transfer a button from one db to another
