I am wondering if there are any plans in the future for an integration with MS 365 services? Many larger organizations have gone in this direction and having a built-in integration would be very helpful in making a case for adoption.

MS365 is [a massive beast](https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/products-apps-services). What do you imagine an integration would look like?

Perhaps you have specific MS products that you think could usefully integrate with Fibery? Otherwise, I think that “Microsoft 365 Integration” is too vague a request to be reasonably implementable.
For example, how should Fibery integrate with OneDrive? with PowerPoint? with Teams?

Thanks @Chr1sG . That is a fair comment. I would be interested in the following tools (more or less in order of preference):

- **Outlook/Exchange** : email, calendar and task support (similar to what is available for Google Workspaces). At the moment, to get outlook calendar into fibery, I’ve found only two options
  - use an automation tool like make or zapier to create fibery entities (which many organizations won’t allow) or
  - use Google Calendar as middleman to sync events using an iCalendar/ics feed. This method works more consistently but Microsoft’s published ics feeds are incomplete and missing attendee lists and a whole bunch of other fields for appointments. An actual integration will remove all these intermediate points of failure.

- **Power Automate** : having a native fibery connector would open up many possibilities for integrations and tools within MS ecosystem. While there is an http connector for API calls, it is considered a premium option and so is almost always not available to users. A Power Automate connector would likely make the rest of the list less critical as it allows you to handle the MS365 side of things within that environment.
- **Teams** : ability to connect to channels and post messages, notifications, drive actions or approvals, …
- **Planner** : ability to sync entities to planner projects (similar to Jira integration)
- **OneDrive** : file exchange/attachments, backup, etc

SharePoint lists and libraries integrations would also be nice but again a Power Automate connector would allow that type of workflow to be handled within MS365.

I second:

- OneDrive – especially the ability to manually and automatically link OneDrive by files to entities (such as through a naming convention), or even better to automatically create folders in OneDrive linked to an entity and showing the list of files in that folder.
- Outlook/Exchange – email & calendar (especially calendar) events – ability to link entities to calendar events and/or emails (emails is partially implemented through email, although send doesn’t work because OAuth doesn’t fully work between Fibery & Microsoft)
- Teams messages / channels - being able to just link a Group or Teams channel to a Fibery entity would be great.

Do you mean seeing files that are attached to a Fibery entity from within OneDrive?

in our case, it is not important to attach the files directly to Fibery. The mere fact that I can see the list of files and be redirected to Sharepoint link is enough since there are access org policy in Sharepoint.

More like, I’d like to ‘pick’ a folder in OneDrive, and ‘attach’ that to a Fibery entity – and then I can see the folders in Fibery, but without uploading them to Fibery.

Have you tried building a custom integration?

If it helps to give more details:

- We have a folder per client (client is also an entity in Fibery)
- We also have a subfolder per matter (matter is also an entity in Fibery)

We’d like to be able to manually (or more likely automatically, as we use a standard naming convention – but we could handle the automatic part in N8N) link the entity to the corresponding folder - WITHOUT - uploading it to Fibery. Uploading creates duplicate content, we want it synced.

Why do we care?

- Fibery is the single Source of Truth – when we trigger external operations from Fibery, we would like it to tell that external system what canonical OneDrive folder to use
- it would be nice if Fibery operations could then happen on that folder – when a file is created in an automation on that entity, it saves to OneDrive instead of Fibery. When a file is linked to an email, it pulls from OneDrive instead of first having to upload to Fibery
- not sure about the feasibility of this, but it would be great if then an automation could be triggered on that entity in Fibery when a file action (new, delete, update) happens in the corresponding folder.

No, to be honest I’m not quite sure how to go about it. Although if you have any ideas I’d be more than willing to try.

Two choices:

- ask Fibery AI to build a custom integration agent (specify what you want to connect to, and how you expect it to work, maybe provide info on its API)
- ask Claude/OpenAI/… to[build a custom integration for Fibery](https://the.fibery.io/@public/User_Guide/Guide/Custom-Integration-development-with-AI-453) which you then host yourself, e.g. on Vercel or Render

Thanks Chris – any pointers on specifically implementing with Microsoft 365 authentication in a way that doesn’t make me pull myself bald?

Hmmm, I’m confused. The same thing that @timothy describing is the very same thing that Clickup was able to perform. If you attach a file from a sharepoint, you will login inside clickup to find the file from the directory and the icon will be shown as a attachment inside clickup but will redirect you to sharepoint or other it inside as an embedded file/link. @Chr1sG
