# Mention a group

We have people who work in a certain team, in our case for instance R&D. We want to tag that entire R&D group of people in a comment section for instance, so that everyone within that group gets a notification and can respond to the comment.

I read “group permissions” in the Pro plan, which I assumed was this above functionality, and thus we upgraded. But apparently this was something different. Which might still be a reason for us to downgrade.

This feels like a very basic feature though. Is this something that can be implemented?

We are not planning next iteration in notifications yet. But when we will, it will be.

This will be one competitive edge over Asana from our point of view, among other things. [Asana doesn’t support this feature either](https://forum.asana.com/t/mentioning-groups-of-users-in-comment/12885).
