First release in 2025 brings you some good stuff!

## 🥳 Set any relative value in Date Filter

We’ve significantly expanded our Date Filter capabilities to support more flexible time-based filtering. When filtering by Date Field, you can now choose from convenient preset options like “today,” “yesterday,” and “one week from now,” or use the “custom date” option to select either specific dates or relative timeframes.

The “is within” operator has also received a major upgrade. You now have the freedom to combine absolute and relative dates at both ends of your date range, moving beyond simple preset ranges like “past week.”

Here are some examples of what you can do:

- Set a range from a specific date to another specific date (e.g., from January 1st → to January 15th)
- Mix a specific date with a relative one (e.g., from January 1st → to 5 days ago)
- Use relative dates on both ends (e.g., from 10 days ago → to 2 weeks from now)

💡 Pro tip: Need to filter for today’s data? Simply use “0 days ago” or “0 days from now” as your relative value.

## 🏋️‍♀️ Batch change fields for selected entities (experimental)

Now you can select many entities and change fields for the selected entities fast. For example, you can change state for selected tasks, assign people, change dates, etc.

NOTE: Enable it in Settings → Experimental Lab.

## 🤓 Improved readability in rich text fields

We made enhancements aimed at improving readability across our text editor. Key updates include:

- Tweaked Checkbox item UI.
- Enhanced Title, Headings, Lists, Callout and Quote styles.
- Optimized spacing between all types of content inside rich text fields.

## 📆 New formulas: Add month to a date and get week number

We’ve add two new formulas and some operations with dates became simpler:

### Months(number): Add month to a date

Returns a Duration for the number of months.

For example, you want to create a field that will show the date 1 month before the deadline.

```auto
[Due Date] - Months(1)
```

Or you can add half a year to a date:

```auto
[Date] + Months(6)
```

### IsoWeekNum(date): Calculate the week number in Formulas

Returns number of the ISO week number of the year for a given date.

```auto
IsoWeekNum([Creation Date]) → 23
```

## 🦋 Improvements

- You can now downgrade from a paid plan to Free with a couple of clicks and without contacting us (although we’d appreciate frank feedback before you go).
- Fibery-to-Fibery sync feature demands Enterprise plan now.
- Monthly usage limits for automations and integrations infographic is unambiguous now about whether it’s 10% left or 10% used.
- More operators were added to text filter in views: is, is not, starts with, ends with.

## 🦐 Fixed Bugs

- Filters: doesn’t contain doesn’t work with empty fields
- “Sync failed” label should not be cut
- Error appears when Admin creates Highlight database
- Can’t rename database
- If Solo workspaces reaches monthly usage limits, upgrade to Standard is meaningless
- Issue with ‘Locked’ icon for embed and relation views
- ‘Duplicate’ option should not be disabled for locked document/view
- Function is not get selected in list below for multiline formula
- Selecting the same DB when setting up a form resets everything
- White background instead of pricing page on opening Chargebee pop-up in the dark theme

Super awesome update! Fixes a lot of my pet peeves, and I’m super excited for relative time filters. Thank you – just one little addition…

I’m hoping for `IsoWeekYear(date)` next to replace my [cumbersome existing](https://community.fibery.io/t/week-number-formulas/3880) week calculation formulas 🙂

Hey guys,
relative dates looks great (UX is also very smooth) - but I have one scenario, which doesn’t work out: Very often I want to see entities from the last month, next month etc.
With relative filters, I will only get +/- one month relative to todays date - but I need the whole month. E.g. "show me all invoices from last month (Dec 1 2024 till Dec 31 2024).
Have I missed something or is this just not possible?

And thumbs up for “Batch edit” - big step forward!

Great start to the new year! Love these small but meaningful fixes: Relative filters and Month/Week formulae. 🙂

Also rich text refinements are always welcome. 🙂

I second this. We use table view a lot instead of list view because the table view highlights field data more prominently.

I love the relative date, batch edit, and rich text readability updates! Thanks for the hard work!

Oh yeah, after checking out the updates a bit more, I agree.

Could we get the following relative scenarios added?

(assuming “First day of the week” preferences are set to Sunday)

- **[This Week]**

- **[Last Week]**

- **[Next Week]**

- **[This Month]**

- **[Last Month]**

- **[Next Month]**

- **[This Year]**

- **[Last Year]**

- **[Next Year]**

Yes I really miss those scenarios as well!

Plus ‘this/last/next quarter’ since we do a lot of quarterly planning as well.

We’ve build a very complex planning solution to achieve this; would be awesome if we could skip that solution and only use filters instead 😍😍

Suttle change, but looks better. What would be really helpful is to reduce the space between bullet points and new lines.

I came over from Logseq and often write with bullet points. Out of any writing tool, Fibery adds way too much space between the bullet point lines…which makes it bullet point list less aesthetically pleasing and useful.

</div>

I’m glad you noticed and liked the change 😊

I understand the concern, especially if you’re used to tighter list spacing in other tools. In Fibery our rich text editor supports elements like mentions, tags, statuses, and avatars in all text lines, including bullet points. Reducing the spacing can make these feel cramped and harder to read.

I’ll revisit this after we refine the design of these units, but for now, the current spacing ensures better readability. Thank you for this feedback!

</div>

I think these suggestions hit on a gap between where our need is and the feature update as-is.
The new custom date option feels _over engineered_. I think it’s capable of helping me filter to this year but I have no idea which of the many options will do that.

The functionality exists but the number of clicks and the way of figuring it out is prohibitive. It’s faster and easier to create a formula on the record Year(Today()) = Year(Date) and filter.

The UX here is, well, rough.
