# Issues with Text Tables

With the new features added to text tables in the recent update, I thought it’d be a good time to bring up other issues I’ve been having with them + suggestions for improvements

- When you paste text inside a cell & the column width hasn’t been adjusted, it makes the column width as long as whatever text was pasted – so you have to pan all the way to the right margin and then drag it back several times. It’d be better if it stayed whatever size it is & required manual adjusting to change the width.
- When you copy a row from a table and paste it into another one while selecting a blank row, it either pastes as a new table inside a cell or it doesn’t align the cells to the selected ones and starts from one cell to the right.
- When you paste a table from an outside source, it turns bullets inside a cell into a numbered list and doesn’t preserve the indentation (turns hierarchical bullet lists into a flat, numbered list)
- It’d be great if there could be an option to “Duplicate Row/Column” in the cell context menu

Really appreciate the new features in the latest update, I really hated having to chase down the little 3-dot button to access context menu actions + needing so many extra clicks to reorder columns and rows.
