Probably the biggest move since your post has been the capability of AI agents to solve this problem. And Fibery has made some major updates.

I currently import a few things and you can go a few ways depending on how often your spreadsheet change structure (new columns etc). how often new data flows into the Sheet, and the size of the Sheet.

- Fibery now has MCP. Just chat in your agent, point it to the CSV, and ask it to create the Fibery db and upload the data. Done.
- If you need infrequent updates, do the same again in a chat ask agent to use Fibery MCP to update data in Fibery. Or ask your agent to set it up as a routine to upload it on a schedule (Claude has routines for example).
- Copy the headers and a few rows of data from the Sheet and paste them into the native Fibery AI. Ask it to build you a new database.
- Use an automation platform like n8n. It does have other complications but it is a powerhouse. You don’t even need to touch n8n to build the workflow, it also has an MCP so it can build the entire workflow for you from scratch.
- Use the Integration Agent in Fibery to build an integration for you. It works best with public API sources but it should do well with a Google Sheet in a structured table. You may have issues with Auth to actually get access to the Sheet (I haven’t tried but know Google is a bit of a pain).
- Use the [🦄 Custom Fibery Integration Development with AI](https://community.fibery.io/t/custom-fibery-integration-development-with-ai/10151) so you can host the integration yourself. Maybe still some issues with the Auth.

Don’t get me wrong, I still think there should be a native Google Sheets integration, it’s one of the most widely used data tools on the planet. But there are other ways to get the data into Fibery now with AI.
