# How do we create Callouts in our Markdown Templates?

I cannot see any syntax when exporting callouts to model my templates on.
(Which tracks, [it look like this was scrapped](https://the.fibery.io/@public/Public_Roadmap/Roadmap_Item/Callout-block-in-Rich-Text-146/anchor=Export-to-markdown--37b0984c-4652-4118-87e8-d52ec7b562a4)) However, it’s unclear how to to add callouts to markdown templates now that we have them.
Is a callout a quote block?
Should adding “!” before a line work? What about multi-line?

No. A quote block is done with a \> prefix and gives an indented text block with a black line on the left.

At the moment, there is no support for callouts in (Fibery) markdown, which is why export/import don’t work.
