# Hotkey for Actions Button & Database Selection During Entity Search

We need a hot key for opening the actions menu and some way to select a database when creating a new entity with #

FastMail has a really great UI for exposing hot keys to its users, might be worth taking a look.

I tried searching the Fibery user guide, but it seems hot keys aren’t really documented.

When you want to create a new entity with #, it takes a lot of additional mouse clicks, before you can create a new element.  
It would be great if e.g. the last 5 databases you used would be shown as a quick select option (something like “create ticket, create protocol, create epic, etc”) with shortcut numbers next to (1 for ticket, 2 for protocol etc)  
That would save a lot of time (there might be better Ux / ui options…)
