# Help me understand Documents

Hello, I’m trying to understand why would I use documents instead of db Documents and its entities. Documents can’t have fields, cannot be listed in vies, so what is the purpose? Isn’t it better to use entity since description bears same possibilities as document?

A Document in Fibery is a Rich Text view. You can build some Dashboards without seeing all the fields of a Database. Is a kind of Word document.
