# Global picklist values for different types

Hi guys, is it possible to create a global picklist and use it in different types? For instance, Task and Bug. They both can have field Status with the same values.

Thanks for noticing and rising the problem 🙂

Have such a problem in the “to solve” insights backlog. Definitely agree that this is a problem, although not sure about the solution and eta.

I know you don’t get 100% the same functionality as the workflow extension, but you could define a type that can be related (many-to-one) to Tasks and Bugs. With appropriate use of icons, colours, and/or notifications via automations, might you be able to get close to what you need…
