# Forms: Required Fields prevent the option to select hidden on a form

**Summary:**  
When I set a field to “Always require a value”. If I try to then make that hidden in a form, it won’t allow it.

**Reproduction steps:**

1. Set a field to “Always require a value”

2. Create a form and on that field you will see that the “hidden” option is grayed out  

**Workaround:**  
You can always turn off the “Always require a value” then turn on hidden on the form. Then re-enable the field setting “Always require a value”.

**Why I think its a bug?**  
Because with the workaround it is possible to have the field hidden when “Always require a value” is enabled.
