# \[FIXED\] Why is an empty entity comment field so tall?

I’d like to try putting Comments on top (or actually, below Description) of some entities à la Notion style, but **the empty comment field is quite tall and take up a significant portion of the screen**.

Have you other using comments in Fibery to collaborate found a use case or UX reason why the empty comments field is so tall?

The only thing I can think of is that it’s kind of designed to be placed at the bottom of each entity. Then it gets some extra space so it’s clearly visible? Since a comment field _can_ have images etc, making it take up significant space.

I’m not sure but hopefully Comments will be a collapsible field just like Relation Views (lists, etc.) are. This was recently added to the Relation Views, I think, and so it may be added to other left-side fields soon…

I may be misremembering, but I thought the empty version used to be about half as tall. I’ve noticed this only in the last couple months.

Fibery fixed the height on empty comment fields in a release today ❤
