# \[✔︎ FIXED\] Renaming field breaks board view, but could be easily handled by app

Hi,

Renaming a field, whose count is shown in a card in board view, breaks all such board views with the following message:

In this example above, the field “Dev Tasks” was simply renamed to “Tasks” and that broke all the views where Dev Tasks count unit was being shown in the cards.

However, this could be easily handled by the app itself by transparently reflecting the change in board configuration and not breaking the board view.

@Shafqat_Ullah Yes, this is a known bug. It will be fixed in future.
