🌼 Fibery strategy 2026

I have a lot of thoughts!!

Potential Niche: Education

Have you considered educational organizations such as universities and government or corporate training departments as a potential niche? We’re using Fibery to manage our volunteer program, courses, offerings - dates, times, faculty, competencies or credits associated with courses, various programs that structure courses and topics in different ways.

If I can get my SQL skills up to speed we’ll start integrating it with our LMS, but providing templates and solutions geared towards professional education might be an area of growth for Fibery?

Reduce Friction for New Subscriptions

I’ve recently convinced our organization to buy four new Pro licenses for Fibery. There’s been a LOT of confusion about how to do this. I’m the only person who understands and uses Fibery, but I am not the person who controls the money! Your subscription page could use an update, along with explanations of what a subscription entails for people who are not as savvy with software licensing.

Our “money person” tried to reach out to Fibery directly and there was just a lot of confusion about whether she was asking for four separate accounts with four separate bills - no, we just wanted to add four new paid users to our account. I think a confusing subscription page could put off potential new clients.

My point is that this is an area where communication from Fibery could use some work and make a big impact! Make the subscription page easy for non-tech-savvy people to understand, they’re the ones with the credit card!

Branding: The Name

It should be clear by this point that I’m a huge fan of Fibery. But the name, from the English US perspective at least, is quite awkward. I’ve had to repeat it multiple times for people before they remember it, and a lot of times they think I’m saying “Fivery”.

I’m not sure if there’s some meaning behind it other than the connotation of connective fibers? But if you’re considering your branding, I think you really do need to look at the name.
