# Entity Icon disappears for parent entity in list view

Unexpected behavior of a the entity icons in nested list views. The parent entity loses its icon, which is replaced by the collapse/expand arrow.  
These are separate features!

Motivation:  
Entity icons are fields with data, and should have consistent behavior in views.  
The data associated with an icon is for example a formula-based status field of the entity.

E.g. in the example below, the icon = status of the parent entity, is lost from the view.

Does the `TRANSCRIPT 29 April ... ` entity have an icon field?

Yes, it is the same database.  
If I disable nesting in that view, it shows like this:
