# Embed Single entity in Dashboard View

It’s not possible to to natively, but I found a cool way to embed a single entity in the dashboard view.

Board view + Size: Large + Filters

Works quite nicely with a simple entity!  
Down side is you cant have the custom to-many views embedded, only the compact selector. And when you change screen sizes, sometimes theres a small scroll due to the card having a min width and height, but in this case its more than enough!

In my case, I filter it to have the task which is active, but if you want a specific entity pinned in the dashboard, you can filter by Public ID, and it will stay there.

Thought it was cool so wanted to share. :))
