Hi guys,

two requests for email notificaitons:

1. Do you have a plan to add email notifications for mentions in comments? Right now we need to open Fibery to review notifications section. It would be great to receive emails.

2. Also JIRA has “watch” feature. It’s possible to subscribe to the JIRA ticket or Confluence doc and receive notifications for changes.

These two are not critical but nice to have.

> Hi guys, I was interested in creating the equivalent functionality of “watcher” that is offered by a lot of PM apps around their tasks and entities. This is a user who is “subscribed” to an entity’s activity - so they are informed when any status changes, fields are adjusted, comments are made, and so forth. Can I use the “assignment” extension to create this functionality? Or would I need to do this another way if that extension needs to be reserved for only actual assignees? Thanks guys!

Both things are in plans, no ETA so far

I generally hate +1 comments, but I’m going to make one, sorry. 😜

We are _really_ missing good e-mail/Slack notifications for changes, compared to a “normal” ticketing system.

I’ve added a “followers” relation on Users with automation to notify people that there has been a change to a ticket, but it doesn’t seem possible to put _what_ has changed in the notification using the message templating. It’d be great to have a {{changesSummary}} or something like that which you could use. Given you have a description in the audit log, is something like that possible already? Am I just missing a trick here?
