# Dynamic Card Background in Whiteboard

Not sure if this is really related, but I have been wondering if having a [colour field type](https://community.fibery.io/t/colour-field-type/3137) that can then be used throughout the system might actually be a good idea.

I think it would make colour coding easier too since you can define this once and don’t have to recreate them in various views.

Fibery itself has a colour type and UI control, it would be great if we can have this at the user level.
