# \[DONE\] Whiteboard - move canvas with mouse only

It is a common pattern to move the canvas using the middle mouse or right mouse drag.

Having to use both keyboard (space) and mouse to move canvas requires additional cognitive effort.

Proposal:

- keep the current solution + add the right (or middle) mouse drag

Note: Some SW uses left mouse drag and dragging the empty space on canvas. This has some drawbacks when canvas is very busy with objects.

Apology - the mentioned issue is of the UX / workflow design character and not a functional bug.

Still I believe it should be categorised here. Or you could have a separate UX / Design issues category.

@radek Not a problem at all, we already have this story in our whiteboard feature, I think the solution here to add the right click+drag behaviour.
