# \[DONE\] Default new Tabs to Search Panel (Mac App)

Hey Fibery team! Quick **suggestion** about new tabs in the **Mac app** :

**Current behavior:**

- New tabs automatically open my first favorited page
- This creates an extra step when I just want to search
- Its opening what I dont want every time 😬

**What I want:**

- New tabs should open directly to the Search panel 😍
- Or let us choose what opens in new tabs

This small change would make the app feel much smoother to use. 🥹

Anyone else want this feature?
