This page: [Fibery](https://the.fibery.io/@public/User_Guide/Guide/Slack-Integration-284)

Still mentions API rate limits coming to Slack.

But the Slack docs: [Rate limit changes for non-Marketplace apps | Slack Developer Docs](https://docs.slack.dev/changelog/2025/05/29/rate-limit-changes-for-non-marketplace-apps/)

Mention that it’s only applying to apples not on the Marketplace. Is the Fibery app affected by these limits? Is there a way to make it an approved app so it isn’t affected? Am I misunderstanding this entirely?

Thanks!

Edit: I read more on the Fibery docs and answered my own question: Fibery is not an approved app, and can not become an approved app: [Fibery](https://the.fibery.io/@public/User_Guide/Guide/Slack-integration-284/anchor=Slack-says-the-Fibery-app-is-not-approve--c84aaecc-c9e1-4b9d-a97e-02cebfcb5916)

This means that the Slack to Fibery sync will be depreciated in May?

Not sure where you get the May deadline from. As far as I can see slack have changed their minds a few times about when the rate limits will actually be enforced, and I have no idea what the latest plan is

Ah its May 2025, not May 2026… Okay let’s see…

I’d be grateful for an update as the page you referenced @RonMakesSystems is stating this month (!) as far as I can tell:

As I mentioned moments ago [here](https://community.fibery.io/t/trigger-on-message-send-in-slack/9824/2) we have just put in place a new Slack set-up, so would hate to have this disappear now. Of course ideally I’d like to just chat directly in Fibery !
