# Desktop app source code

I am wondering if the fibery team would ever consider making the source code for the desktop app available to the community? I’m assuming the desktop app is primarily a wrapper for the web app, so hoping there isn’t anything proprietary that precludes this. If that is not the case, then obviously this is not a good idea.

I think allowing the community to have access to source code would allow users to potentially contribute features that might not be a priority for the fibery team but still valuable to the community.

We discussed this and so far are not ready to do it. The problem is effort from our side. Maybe in some future we will have time for that
