# Copy view settings

Hi,
We have some views where we really flashed out our settings. We would like to easily copy these settings over to another location.
Is there a way to just copy over view settings?
The view is in a smart folder, so we cannot duplicate it, but we would like to re-use the settings (filter, color, card, that stuff).

BTW, I assume you’re not looking just to [mirror](https://the.fibery.io/@public/User_Guide/Guide/Context-Views-20/anchor=Mirroring-a-context-View--4e26bf4d-a013-4a00-970f-147020606301) it?

Hi Chris,
I completely looked past that post.
Unfortunate, it would be a nice feature to have.
We are indeed not looking to mirror it. We already use a smart folder with mirrored views, and they do work for many of our use-cases. The structure however isn’t great for all of our projects, so we still end up making a separate space (for example, nested projects, or a nice tree-structure for wiki pages in the side-bar are not possible in our current setup, so we end up with a separate space anyway).
It would be nice to copy the settings of the views so that we can provide a consistent style for the task-views across our workspace. Either copying the settings, or setting up view-templates would really help with this.
