# Cannot combine "When Linked" and "When Unlinked" conditions in a single Automation Rule

I would like to be able to create a single Rule that is triggered by either condition: _entity is linked_, or _entity is unlinked_.

Right now I must define two nearly-identical Rules to accomplish this:

**Use Case: This would allow me to reduce the clutter of Rules**. I would use a Formula to distinguish the trigger case and set the value.
