# Bug in Whiteboard: space between words inside shape disappears after exiting edit mode

When editing text inside a shape, spaces between words are visible and appear correctly.

However, once you click outside the shape to exit edit mode, the spaces collapse and the words are rendered joined together.

When a pasted without formatting, the issue disappeared.

Hi, can I ask you to provide us what is in your clipboard when you get such bug in whiteboard on pasting. You can use [Clipboard Inspector](https://evercoder.github.io/clipboard-inspector/) this tool to inspect it. Just open the page and paste there. I’m particularly interested in text/html content. So please copy as plain text and paste here on the forum or in the intercom.
