Hey!
The solution I came up with is requiring a form on input (which is a form with just the name field), then the “Create and Open” button shows up, and reduces the number of clicks by 1. It’s still not super elegant since not all users will know to press the button. I actually made a recent request to allow to Open new entity in side panel for data input instead of form or in-line, please let me know if that would solve your issue and vote for it or leave your thoughts there :))
