# ⚡ Auto-fill quick add form with open entity

When initiating a form from within an entity (say, on a related field), the entity is automatically filled in, which is great. We’d like the same behavior when using “quick add” while the entity is open—having the entity auto-filled in that context as well.

This may have been discussed before and I believe it was a bit complex if I recall but either way, I wanted to make a formal request.
