## Custom Apps

Moreover, now you can create Apps right inside rich text fields and documents. Just type `/app` and create something useful.
## See how each change was made (UI, API, automation, AI)
Every change in Fibery now carries a return address. You can see not only _who_ made a change, but _how_ it was made.
Until today, a change made by Claude via MCP or Fibery AI looked exactly like a change you made by hand. With AI agents doing more and more work on your behalf, this gets messy quickly: was it you, or your agent? Now you can see all these things in Activity:
In Activity Log you can filter changes by `Via` and search by source name, so “show me everything Claude touched this week” is now a five-second job. It is especially handy when an AI agent goes rogue and you want to review (or undo) its work.
Here are all the channels Fibery tracks:
- **UI** — good old manual edits
- **Rule** and **Button** — automations
- **Integration** — built-in syncs like Jira or GitHub
- **API Key** — scripts and custom code
- **MCP** — AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT, with the tool name attached
- **External Integration** — Zapier, Slack, Make
- **Fibery AI Agent** — our own AI
- **System** — Fibery internal machinery (formula recalculations, migrations)
🔌 NOTE: MCP connections created **before** this release may show just “MCP” without the tool name. Reconnect, and the name will appear.
## Fibery Official ChatGPT MCP Plugin
After three (3) months and 7 (seven) attempts [Fibery MCP Plugin was Approved by OpenAI](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6a2ab6b4009c8191b74cb3b2c70025e3). Go install it and and enjoy the simplicity and power of Fibery via MCP.
## 🦋 Improvements
- **Desktop:** In the desktop app, tabs now close on middle-click, same as clicking the × button.
- **Form View:** Now you can hide Required Fields (with pre-set value only) on Forms.
## 🦐 Fixed Bugs
- **Limits** : Banner does not get reopened when extra limits are added and then all used
- **MCP Server / CLI:** MCP does not allow to populate date-time-range fields
- **Import** : Coordinates are cut when imported into Location field
- **Form View** : Manual refresh is required sometimes to apply sort

❤ This is a truly helpful bit of info. I look forward to formula field edits also somehow being tracked, since AI is really helpful but potentially destructive in that, particularly since formula edits via MCP are prompt-based and not literal, which may lead to disastrous changes, which one may want to roll back.
I also wonder if it would make sense to allow the `via` to be used to narrow access permissions, e.g. User X via \* has edit access, but user X via MCP has no delete access, and so on.
This would alleviate the worries of opening up mcp access to our less Ai-literate users with more control over the fallout.

Ooh, very nice touch! This helps when the tabs become many and the x button becomes covered by the window’s sizing buttons.

Great work. Custom apps is indeed a game changer. Thanks for all the work. I was wondering if it is also going to be possible to manually edit code. This would for example be great for CSS changes or other small changes you just want to tweak. Using AI for that is a bit overkill sometimes 🙂
