I think it would be great if team members could have a list with the databases and their description. Right now Fibery can become a complex network of databases and relations, but team members might only be exposed to 20% of it.
I think it would be in anyone’s best interest if they were able t see the full picture: the databases we have, their description and the relationships between them.

A table like structure could work but ideally they would see this description in the Workspace Map as well.
This should make them more aware of how their company’s workspace looks like. It should make them more comfortable with the tool, how it works, and potential insights:
“aha, so we have a database for Task and one for Feedback, maybe we should connect them”

I realized that I might be able to extract the list of databases and their descriptions using the Fibery AP, and then just copy-paste that into a document

I have actually written a custom integration that will sync a set of databases (called Space, Database and Field) representing the schema of a given workspace. I’d be willing to share the source code (no warranties implied!) but you would need to arrange to host it yourself.
At the moment, it doesn’t include the description info for each database, but I imagine it could be extended.

Thanks for the offer but it sounds a bit overkill.
I tried the Fibery AI approach but it doesn’t seem to work.
I’ll just make a list by hand and get it over with. Should be much faster and it’s not like databases descriptions change often (ideally not at all)

I’d love to take a look at this if you’re open to sharing it! Thanks :))
